Greeley Arts Legacy Hall of Fame
The Greeley Arts Legacy Hall of Fame is unique in that it honors artists of all genres and disciplines. Staying true to our values, we are proud to honor those that have made and continue to make Greeley an exceptional epicenter for arts and culture!
The Greeley Arts Legacy project, established in 2017, supports and acknowledges the most highly regarded artists, art educators, arts leaders, benefactors, creatives, and arts organizations who have contributed to the development and richness of the arts in Greeley, from 1870 to the present. The creation of the Arts Legacy Hall of Fame recognizes and establishes the historical context of these individuals and groups.
Honorees for the Hall of Fame have demonstrated the highest ideals of integrity in their areas of expertise. They have brought about significant events and substantive improvements in the arts and/or contributed to the betterment of the arts and artists in the community through their exemplary service.
The Georgia granite steles were dedicated to the City of Greeley in 2023 and celebrated with a community gathering and ribbon cutting. Each year during Arts & Humanities Month in October, new honoree name are engraved into a stele located in front of the Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC) and recognized during a public ceremony held in the Hensel Phelps Theater at UCCC.
