AWARD DESIGN:The Artist’s Brain
This award, entitled “The Artist’s Brain,” given to each hall of fame honoree or their family, was designed by GAL former Board member, Frank Garza, who initiated his concept connecting creativity and the brain. Rather than focus on each individual art form, the emphasis was placed on the diffusion spectrum imaging which shows the neuron pathways illuminated in the brain during times of creativity. With the help of the Canadian custom award company, Crystal Sensations, Frank designed this one-of-a-kind award for our honorees. Photo by Kevin Johnston.
